Below are some frequently asked questions that should help with your enquiry – if you can’t find the answer here don’t hesitate to get in touch!


Which instruments do you play?
Our usual set up is as a string quartet – two violins, a viola and a cello.
However, we can play as a combination of these in a trio or duo for smaller
events or budgets.

Where are you based?
We are based in the Wiltshire/Bath/Bristol area, but can travel further if
necessary (this will be reflected in the hire price)

How much does it cost to hire you?
The cost is dependent on a few factors, such as the duration of the event, the
number of players and the location – contact us with more details about your event
for a quote.

Is a deposit required?
Yes – once the deposit has been paid (10% of the full cost), your booking is
confirmed.

Do you take music requests?
Yes – if you’d like us to play something that isn’t currently on our repertoire
list just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Can you play outside?
Yes, we are very happy to play outside – however, we would require some form of
shade if it is especially sunny and a covered area if it is raining.

What will you require for the event?
We will need chairs without arms, somewhere secure to store our instrument
cases/bags, and adequate shade/cover if we are playing outside.
